Camp Jened hires over 160 summer employees for more than 20 different jobs:

Counselors
form the backbone of the Jened staff. Their primary responsibility is to provide campers with an enjoyable, safe and healthful vacation. They participate with campers in a wide variety of activities and assist them with personal care.

Lifeguards
are responsible for the safety of campers and staff at two swimming pools and the lake. They organize swim activities, drive pontoon boats and supervise row boats and paddle boats. Appropriate certification is required. Non certified applicants with strong swimming skills can be trained and will be considered for employment.

Activity Leaders
plan and lead program areas including arts and crafts...music, dance and drama...sensory...media magic...discovery outdoors...cooking and camping.

Other Positions
including cooks, nurses, secretary, driver, kitchen assistants, and housekeeping staff.
